Every 1st may wasac joins the rest of the globe in celebrating the international Labor Day .This day having been a weekend, the management celebrated it on the 07th May 2020 a Friday where the over role best performers for the year 2020 -2021 were rewarded. These workers were selected from Head office plus the various Wasac branches and water treatment plants located all over the country and three of them were rewarded each a laptop worth 1million Rwandan francs.
Mr. INGABIRE Jean Bernard the best employee of the year 2020-2021 was appreciated the reward and said “Am thrilled by the gift that l have received and it will help me in improving on the online new connection application that l developed”
The CEO Eng. Alfred D. BYIGERO thanked those that performed well and encouraged more employees to be innovative, love work and always being exemplary when executing their daily duties; he warned workers who do unethical activities that tarnish the institution’s Image.
‘You should love your employment as well as the leadership of the country and be in position to serve Rwandans whole heartedly with improved services’ he said.
This event is done every year where best employee are rewarded and this time around all employees followed the event virtually due the Covid-19 rules and regulations.
